Transcending Obscurity just released “Dust of Aeons”, debut of Towards Atlantis Lights, a supergroup founded by Kostas Panagiotou (Pantheist, Clouds) and Ivan Zara (Void of Silence). The album concept is centered on The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, symbols of perfection and knowledge. The artwork I designed for this release is a journey through time and space bound together by a “fil rouge”: the collapse of ancient civilizations. On the front, knowledge, metaphorically represented by the temple, is collapsing under the attack of a brutal force. Of that mighty ancient past, now remains only dust.
